Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan New Delhi is Cultural Centre and a teachers’ training institute that conducts workshops and seminars on teaching German as a foreign language. In addition, it supports our language course cooperation partners in the region (including Chandigarh, Hyderabad and Kathmandu).
The library at the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan New Delhi provides information about current aspects of cultural, social and political life in Germany. We offer a wide range of media and information services for all interested in contemporary Germany or in teaching and studying German as a foreign language. Our eLibrary is accessible to everyone in India.
The department of library and information services cooperates with institutions, publishing houses and libraries in India and fosters the translation of German literature as well as the professional exchange with Germany.
